Stem Books

On the 14th of June 2018 the chairperson Mr. Normal Shava  handed over to the school 336 tablespoons which were donated by Pilot Dube (1975 graduate) and Samkeliso Mtengwa-France (1982 graduate). Keep up the good work alumni members.

On the 14th of February 2018 our library collection received a huge donation of 210 books from Professor Hove-Musekwa AND Mr. M. K Musekwa. The students’ expression was priceless as they saw these books. They couldn’t contain their happiness when they saw these books. They kept on coming and asking, “Madam, are the books ready for circulation?” This gave me the energy as the librarian to process these books as fast as I could so that the students could use them.

The collection mainly comprised of Mathematics and Science textbooks and a few on commercials. Most of the books we received we had to put them under the Reserve section so that all the students would get a chance to use them especially the A ‘Level Physics and Chemistry books. Our current collection had a few of these and students are always complaining that they are outdated.

To our donors, I would like to say thank you and God bless you for what you did for us. Our students are happy and the number of patrons has since increased because of your efforts.

On this note I would like to appeal to the whole of Musume High School Alumni Association to continue this good work you have started. Our library can use a boost as far as library materials are concerned. We need more textbooks of any subject, novels, magazines, dictionaries, encyclopedias and any appropriate literature for the library.

Help me to help our future leaders.

Thank you

Ms Petronella Mabhena
